(KCEN) -- Fort Hood officials released the name of a soldier who died of apparent natural causes on May 10.
Sgt. 1st Class Thaddeus Warren Clark, 48, began active duty service in February 1990 as a petroleum specialist. He served more recently as a mental health specialist and was assigned to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood since Dec. 2010.
Clark was deployed to support Operation Iraqi Freedom from Oct. 2008 to May 2009. He had received numerous awards and decorations, some of which included a Meritorious Service Medal, six Army Good Conduct Medals, a Global War on Terrorism Medal, a United Nations Medal and an Overseas Service Ribbon
Petty Officer Second Class Jorge Luis Velasquez, 35, of Houston, died in Manama, Bahrain. Velasquez was assigned to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 56 in Bahrain, which conducts maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
Chief Petty Officer JoseJoewey Madrigal Butor, an aviation boatswain’s mate-fuels, was found floating in the water near Berth 2 by the Japanese Coast Guard about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, base officials said. He was 50.
Butor was attached to Navy Supply Fleet Logistics Center at Yokosuka.
FORT DRUM — Information is limited in the non-combat-related deaths of two soldiers, Sgt. Colton L. Derr and Spc. Jacob A. Osborne, on April 28.
No cause of death was listed for either soldier, and there was no indication the deaths were connected.
Sgt. Derr, 24, served in the 3-71 Calvary Squadron, 3rd Brigade Combat Team. An obituary listing for Sgt. Derr may be found at www.bit.ly/KKb8Xj.

Staff Sergeant Zachary Hargrove of Wichita, Kansas, died on May 3, 2012, in Parwan Province, Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. According to initial reports, Staff Sergeant Hargrove died from a non-combat related incident. He was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 84th Explosive Ordnance Disposal Battalion, 1st Sustainment Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas.
Master Sergeant Gregory L. Childs, died on May 4, 2012, in Kabul Province, Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. According to initial reports, Master Sergeant Childs died from a non-combat related illness. Master Sergeant Childs, of Warren, Arkansas, was assigned to the Defense Logistics Agency, Administrative Support Center, Fort Belvoir.
FORT HOOD – Fort Hood officials have released the name of a Soldier who was found unresponsive in his residence April 30 in Copperas Cove. Coryell County Justice of the Peace John Guinn pronounced him deceased the same day.
Sergeant Able Felipe Duran, 47, whose home of record is listed as Colorado Springs, Colo., entered the military in December 1992 as a signal support systems specialist, and was assigned to Company D, 1st Battalion, Warrior Transition Brigade, Fort Hood, since March 2011.
Duran's awards and decorations include the NATO Medal, Army Achievement Medal with four oak leaf clusters, Army Good Conduct Medal with silver loop, National Defense Service Medal with bronze service star, Korea Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terror Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, the Drivers/Mechanics Badge and the Basic Marksmanship Qualification Badge.
Sgt. 1st Class Donald Reis, 31, of Fall River was assigned to Battery E (Target Aviation), 101st Field Artillery Regiment from the Rehoboth armory, died of a “non-combat-related illness,” said Maj. Lisa Ahaesy, National Guard spokeswoman.
